Strategic Fundraising
Challenge
Strategic Fundraising, Inc., a Virginia-based fundraising resource, was a former client of ours. In need of total website revamp, Strategic knew just who to call. Its current site was a few years old and unresponsive, making it hard for users to navigate the website on smartphones and other mobile devices. Strategic also hoped to broaden its target audience, where its current focus of only high school athletic teams would further expand to all school-aged teams, bands, choruses, and nonprofit groups, such as churches.
Outcome
Emerge was happy to take on the project. We decided to maintain Strategic’s current color scheme and youthful look, incorporating blue & red throughout the headers and webpages, along with appealing icons. Built on responsive framework, we expanded the website pages to full-width, installing a large, hero image as the initial focus on the homepage. Condensing the navigation menu, we organized all of the products onto one page, and created a separate About page for an overview of the company and it services. Using large, colorful images of student athletic teams throughout the site’s page headers, the new website is now attractive to youth, user-friendly, and easily accessible via mobile devices.
