A Textbook Problem of Outdated Web Design

St. Joseph Catholic School is an advancED accredited school with its curriculum rooted in the Catholic Faith. Providing education for students in Jr. Kindergarten to Middle School, St. Joseph needed a way to convey to parents their values of success and catholicism. Their old website was severely outdated and hard to navigate.

Choosing a school to send your child to requires a rigorous examination of what that school has to offer. You want to know that your child will be properly taught, tutored and supported beyond their educational pursuits.

An outdated website can reflect poorly on that image. It leaves the parent with the impression that the school might be filled with outdated textbooks and computer lab equipment running on Windows 98.

Good for Your Pupils: An Eye-Catching School Website

To fix the issues of their previous site, our web designer met with the staff of St. Joseph Catholic School to discuss what mattered to them in the redesign. We determined the word choice for four “we are…” statements and highlighted these core values on the homepage. Utilizing stunning photography of smiling children from around the school, the website gives a more accurate glimpse into the everyday life of students.

The website makes it easier to find information about touring the facilities and tuition costs as well as how to donate to the school.
